Question 1

What is a custom itinerary planning service?

Accepted Answer

A service that plans a trip around you: where to be each morning, afternoon and evening, how to get between places, where to stay and eat, and what it all costs. Travel agents do this by hand, usually for a fee. TripRai is a free, personalised trip planner that does it in seconds from your answers (dates, cities, who is coming, what you eat, your pace and budget), and lets you change any single day afterwards.

Question 2

How do I choose a personalised trip planning service?

Accepted Answer

Ask six things. Does it plan around your food and your people (children, older parents), not just your interests? Does it show the cost of the whole trip, in your currency, before you book? Does it plan the rides between places with their fares, not just a list of places? Can you change one day without losing the rest? Is it honest that prices are estimates? And does it only link to bookings, or push its own? TripRai does all of these and links to booking partners; it does not sell trips itself.

Question 3

Can TripRai plan a trip for Jain travellers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Jain in the food step and every meal in the plan is picked for Jain food (no meat, fish or egg, and no onion, garlic or root vegetables). Where a restaurant's Jain or vegetarian food cannot be confirmed, the plan does not name it; it suggests looking nearby instead of guessing. Abroad, the trip's packing list reminds you to carry a short food card in the local language.

Question 4

Is TripRai good for vegan or vegetarian families?

Accepted Answer

TripRai lets families select vegetarian or vegan food preferences, travel pace, budget and who is coming, including children or parents. It suggests meals and day-by-day activities around those preferences. Restaurant menus and ingredients can change, so confirm vegan or vegetarian suitability before eating.

Question 5

Can TripRai help plan a relaxed solo trip through Southeast Asia with halal food?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for supported destinations such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. Select solo travel, a relaxed pace and halal food preferences to get a day-by-day itinerary with estimated costs and meal suggestions. Halal certification and restaurant menus are not guaranteed; check directly with each restaurant before eating.

Question 6

Can I plan a vegan family holiday on a moderate budget?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose your destination, dates, family group, dietary preference, budget and walking comfort. TripRai creates a day-by-day plan with estimated flights, stays, food and transport costs. Vegan meal suggestions need independent ingredient checks, and prices are estimates rather than live booking quotes.

Question 7

Is TripRai free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. TripRai is free to use and needs no sign-up. Each visitor can make up to 5 new plans and 10 day changes a day.

Question 8

How accurate are TripRai's trip costs?

Accepted Answer

They are estimates, worked out day by day: flights from recent fares for your dates where available, local prices converted at today's exchange rate, and hotels, meals and rides from typical prices in each city. Check prices, opening hours and visa rules before you book.

Question 9

Which countries can TripRai plan?

Accepted Answer

Thailand, Japan, India, United Kingdom, Spain, Albania, Netherlands, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, from any home city and in your own currency. More countries are added over time.

Question 10

Can TripRai check a trip itinerary I've already created?

Accepted Answer

Yes. TripRai has a free itinerary checker that reviews an existing travel plan and highlights potential issues. Review its suggestions and confirm important details before booking.

Question 11

Can I share my TripRai itinerary?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can share your trip plan using TripRai's sharing options, including WhatsApp, email and PDF.

Question 12

Does TripRai book flights and hotels?
