Vegetarian, Jain & halal food

Tapas bars always have vegetarian options: tortilla de patatas, pimientos de padrón, patatas bravas, gazpacho and salmorejo (ask for it without ham). Halal restaurants are easy to find in Granada's Albaicín.

Travelling with kids or parents

Spain eats late: lunch around 2 pm and dinner after 8:30 pm. With children or parents, plan a rest in the hot afternoon and use taxis for the Albaicín's steep lanes.
