Albania packing list: what to pack, month by month
This list is made by TripRai's code from our 7-day Albania itinerary (Tirana, Berat, Gjirokaster, Saranda, Ksamil), for a traveller from India. Every item with a day next to it is there because of that day. Plan your own trip and you get the same kind of list, made from your own days, dates and food.

Questions
Do I need a travel adapter for Albania?
Yes. Albania uses Type C/F sockets, and Indian plugs do not fit them.
What is the weather like in Tirana through the year?
Roughly: January–February: cool (~12–20°C); March–April: mild (~18–25°C); May: warm (~25–32°C); June–August: hot (over ~32°C); September: warm (~25–32°C); October: mild (~18–25°C); November–December: cool (~12–20°C). May, June and September: a warm sea on the Riviera without the August crowds.
Do I need cash in Albania?
Yes. Cash in lek: many places take cash only. A forex card covers the rest.
How do vegetarian, Jain or vegan travellers manage food in Albania?
Albanian food is friendly to vegetarians: byrek with spinach or cheese, stuffed peppers, fërgesë and fresh salads. Most meat is halal-style lamb and chicken; ask if you need it certified. A short food card in Albanian ("no meat, fish or egg"; for Jain food, also no onion, garlic or root vegetables) helps when ordering. TripRai plans every meal of a trip around what you eat.
